Corporate Scams & Contemporary Business Events
The Department of Management, organized a Role-Play Competition on “Corporate Scams & Contemporary Business Events” on 2nd December 2025 as a part of its experiential and activity-based learning initiatives.
The event witnessed active participation from management students, who presented real-world corporate scams, ethical dilemmas, and contemporary business events through structured role-play performances. The activity enabled students to demonstrate conceptual clarity, analytical skills, creativity, and collaborative learning, while translating theoretical knowledge into practical understanding. The performances reflected awareness of corporate governance issues, ethical challenges, and managerial decision-making in contemporary business contexts.
The activity contributed to the attainment of programme and course learning outcomes by enhancing students’ ability to analyse real-life business cases, interpret ethical and governance-related challenges, and apply management concepts in practical situations. Participation in the role-play improved students’ critical thinking, ethical reasoning, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, while also fostering confidence and professional competence. The initiative strengthened experiential learning, promoted student engagement, and supported the institution’s focus on student-centric pedagogical practices.
Overall, the event supported the department’s efforts toward innovative teaching–learning practices, holistic student development, and outcome-based education.
