Vishleshan- Case Study Competition 2026

The Department of Management successfully organized VISHLESHAN, an insightful and engaging Case Study Competition on 10th April, 2026 aimed at enhancing students’ analytical thinking, strategic decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who actively analysed real-world business scenarios and presented innovative, practical, and well-structured solutions. Participants demonstrated exceptional managerial aptitude, teamwork, communication skills, and critical thinking throughout the event.

The primary objective of VISHLESHAN was to provide students with experiential learning opportunities and encourage them to apply theoretical management concepts to practical business challenges. The event created a dynamic platform for intellectual exchange, creativity, and professional development among aspiring managers. The judging panel appreciated the participants for their thoughtful analysis, confidence, and presentation skills. The competition not only fostered a spirit of healthy competition but also strengthened students’ understanding of contemporary business environments and strategic management practices.

Statescape- Celebrating India’s Diversity 2023

The Tree Plantation Drive 2023 has been organised with the objective of promoting environmental awareness, sustainability, and social responsibility among students. The event was conducted within the campus premises with enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff. The initiative aimed to encourage ecological consciousness and inspire students to contribute actively towards creating a greener and healthier environment.

During the drive, participants planted a variety of saplings and actively engaged in spreading awareness regarding environmental conservation, climate change, and the importance of maintaining ecological balance. Students demonstrated great enthusiasm and teamwork while taking part in the plantation activity and learning about the long-term benefits of afforestation and sustainable living practices. The event also emphasized the role of youth in protecting natural resources and building an environmentally responsible society.

Statescape- Celebrating India’s Diversity 2023

The Department of Management successfully organized STATESCAPE – Celebrating India’s Diversity, a State Trade Fair event, on October 26, 2023. The event was conceptualized to celebrate the rich cultural, industrial, and entrepreneurial diversity of India by providing students with a platform to represent various states through creativity, research, and innovation. Through this unique experiential activity, students gained deeper insights into the socio-economic and business landscapes of different regions across the country.

Participants enthusiastically represented different Indian states and showcased their understanding based on three major parameters: culture, popular businesses, and future investment opportunities. The cultural segment included traditional attire, music, food, and regional heritage, reflecting the vibrant diversity of India. Under the business dimension, students highlighted key industries, economic strengths, and commercially significant sectors associated with their respective states. The future investment scope segment encouraged participants to explore emerging startups, service industries, entrepreneurial opportunities, and growth potential within different regional markets.

The event witnessed active participation, creative presentations, and strong team coordination, making the trade fair both educational and engaging. Mock Stock Competition 2026

The Department of Management successfully organized MOCK STOCK 2026, a Virtual Stock Trading Simulation, from 27th -30th April, 2026. Conducted on the NEOSTOCK platform, the activity was designed to provide students with practical exposure to stock market operations, investment strategies, and portfolio management through a simulated trading environment. The event aimed to enhance students’ financial literacy, analytical thinking, decision-making abilities, and understanding of real-time market dynamics.

The trading simulation was conducted over three phases, where participants actively engaged in market entry, strategy formulation, live trading, monitoring, and portfolio closure activities. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition and demonstrated strong analytical skills, risk assessment capabilities, and strategic investment approaches while responding to fluctuating virtual market conditions. The final evaluation was based on the net profit generated by participants and trading strategies adopted. the top-performing students were recognized for their exceptional trading performance and financial acumen.

The event served as an excellent experiential learning platform by bridging the gap between theoretical financial concepts and practical market exposure. MOCK STOCK 2026 not only encouraged students to develop a deeper understanding of stock trading and investment management but also strengthened their confidence in applying financial and strategic concepts in simulated business environments. Corporate Scams & Contemporary Business Events

The Department of Management, organized a Role-Play Competition on “Corporate Scams & Contemporary Business Events” on 2nd December 2025 as a part of its experiential and activity-based learning initiatives.

The event witnessed active participation from management students, who presented real-world corporate scams, ethical dilemmas, and contemporary business events through structured role-play performances. The activity enabled students to demonstrate conceptual clarity, analytical skills, creativity, and collaborative learning, while translating theoretical knowledge into practical understanding. The performances reflected awareness of corporate governance issues, ethical challenges, and managerial decision-making in contemporary business contexts.

The activity contributed to the attainment of programme and course learning outcomes by enhancing students’ ability to analyse real-life business cases, interpret ethical and governance-related challenges, and apply management concepts in practical situations. The Lights-Camera-Campaign, held on 12th November 2025, was a dynamic and innovative marketing event that provided students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, strategic thinking, and storytelling skills through short promotional video campaigns. The Department of Management organized the event to inspire participants to turn marketing ideas into impactful visual campaigns.

Students worked in teams to develop an idea, create a brand message, and produce an engaging marketing video that demonstrated a thoughtful understanding of consumer behavior and brand positioning. The Department of Management organized an engaging Debate Competition on 3rd December '24 offering students a platform to showcase their critical thinking and public speaking skills. The topic was Innovation versus Invention :What is more important? Here students explained and debated that Invention is the creation of a new idea, product, or process, representing originality and breakthroughs. Innovation, on the other hand, focuses on improving or applying these ideas to create value and solve real-world problems. While invention provides new possibilities, innovation drives adoption, practicality, and economic growth. Both are essential, but innovation often holds greater importance for long-term success because it transforms potential into tangible impact, ensuring that new ideas are utilized and widely embraced .
