Course Overview
The Pearson BTEC Higher qualification in Art and Design offered by JIMS-JCC is a study of medium to reach all sections of society from elite to grass root levels in the remotest corners globally and nationally. The course aims to explore the amalgamation of architecture, space planning, display, merchandising, landscaping and product designing.
The course also endeavors to inculcate sound spatial and technical design sense and also nurture the sense of intricate detailing of drawings, knowledge of building materials, lighting and a keen aesthetic, functional and ethical sensitivity to interior and exterior environments.
It also imparts various levels of higher education in order to enhance employability of the graduates and meet industry requirements. Design but also become a part of the global workforce.
As interior designing is constantly evolving, candidate also learns about some of the latest trends affecting the industry. The concept of "green" sustainable design is also introduced.
