MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES AND WORKSHOPS
The organization gives special focus to MDPs to meet the specific requirements of the Indian corporate sector, which are being increasingly exposed to fierce domestic and international competition.

  • Workshop on "Developing Organizational Capability"

    • JIMS in collaboration with PHDCCI and KAF, germany conducted a workshop on 'Developing Organizational Capability' for executives of SMEs on February 16, 2006. Eminent speakers comprising

    • Mr.Amul Gogna - Executive Director, ICRA
    • Mr.Suresh Sahu, Director and GM (HR), Cannon India
    • Prof.(Cdr) Satish Seth, Director, JIMS
    • Mr.Sumit Chaudhari, CEO, Third Millenium

    spoke on specific dimensions of capabilities such as Leadership and Change Management, Team Building and Talent Management.

  • Workshop on " Interpersonal Effectiveness and Team Building"

    • Four day workshop for ' Interpersonal Effectiveness and Team Building ' for executives of Security and Intelligence Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. (SIS), was conducted on February 20-23, 2006. The topics covered in the workshop included business communication and etiquette. The sessions were highly interactive and were deeply appreciated by the firm's senior management. The participating faculty included :

    The workshop was a great success and culminated with a full day practical session involving team-building games/ exercise at the company's training ground in Gurgaon.

  • Workshop on "Garment Exports in the Post Quota Regime"

    • The objective of the workshop held in February, 2006 was to assess the export performance of garment industry of India in a liberalized era and to analyze its competitive strengths vis-a-vis other suppliers to the world markets.

    • Shri R.Poornalingam - IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles delivered theme address
    • Dr. P. L.Sanjeev Reddy - Director, IIPA was the Guest of Honour

  • MDP on "How to be a Successful Exporter"

    • An MDP on "How to be a Successful Exporter" was organized in collaboration with NIESBUD in January, 2006. The topics covered in the programme included pre-requisites to start an export business, foreign trade policy of India, selection of markets, finance, etc. Nearly 60 participants attended the programme. Eminent guest speakers included :

  • Workshop on "e-Governance Awareness"

    • A one-day workshop on 'e-Governance Awareness' organized at JIMS was addressed by

  • International Conference

    • An International Conference got oraganized at PHD House, New Delhi. The topic of the session was 'Managing New Technologies, Cultures and Business in a Borderless World'. The chief guest included :

  • Paper Presentation

    • A paper presentation on the topic 'Pricing Strategy in a Liberalized Economy' was conducted for Performance Enhancement for ONGC Executives.The paper was presented by
