The institute provides opportunities to students to enhance their talents, creative skills and organizational capabilities by encouraging their participation in activities, which include cultural festivals, Quiz Contests, Debates, Elocution, Student Magazine, Dandiya Nite, Christmas Party, Freshers' Party, Sports week, etc.

The institute organizes Cultural Fest, IT Fest & Sports Competition, etc., and to facilitate this, various student clubs are constituted like the Cultural Club, the Corporate Relation Club, the Seminar Club, the Infotech Club, the Sports Club, etc.

A function was organized on 8th March (International Women’s Day) with our Community leaders from Mangole Puri & J.J Colony.

JIMS participated in BOSM 2009 at BITS PILANI

To have a perfect test of our endurance, skills, talent & stamina BITS Pilani invited our college JIMS for their annual inter college sports meet BOSM (September 16-20, 2009) It was a great opportunity to match with the best in the country. BOSM had more than 800 participants from all INDIA.

Our students Rajat & Rohit yadav qualified the semi finals in Doubles Carom& Ankit Gupta, Puneet Sangwaan, Puneet kriplani, Amandeep ,Varun Karan, Rajat & Akash in Basketball.

The following students Varun Chaudhary qualified only Table Tennis Quarters & Karan & Puneet Sangwan were in 100 mts Spirit.

Although the teams were not able to qualify for the FINALE but had a great learning experience in overall.

FM Community Radio

JIMS participated in "Radio One FM 94.3'Coca Cola, College Champions"

Radio One FM 94.3 launched a new initiative for the college youth, the 'Coca Cola, College Champions', which spread over college campus, television and radio started in August, 2009.

It was an 11 week long activity which not only give the students a chance to become a Music Jockey (MJ) but also gives them in-depth training on how radio acts as a medium works i.e. from productions to music management to presenting shows on air.

The campaign started in several colleges in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore. As a part of the campaign, Radio One was scouting for RJ's from these colleges whom they are looking to train at the respective stations. College students were given a chance to host their own radio show for a whole week on Radio One FM and this process will be telecast in MTV.

Our JIMS, Rohini campus was a part of this fun filled activity. The auditions were held on August 31, 2009. Some of the other venues for auditions were Miranda House, SRCC, Sri Venkateshvara College, Maitri College, and BVP.

Final 18 teams were there at the day of auditions out which TANUJ ARORA/ PRATEEK AGARWAL (BBA FIRST SEM SEC-G) were declared the winners.

The students will be sent for training in the month of October & the finale is still to be aired on MTV soon.

The channel will also select the best college kid from each college as the face of MTV on that campus.

The campaign has been presented in association with MTV, Westside and BPL Mobile.

Freshers' Party
Freshers' Party
Come September and JIMS is all set to celebrate and welcome Freshers with fun and frolic. The party goes for 5 days each department taking its turn per day; booked at popular landmarks; decorated with lights and flowers to match the mood of jubilation.

Juniors and Seniors clad themselves as per the theme suggested to rock the party.
The major highlight of the programme is the contest for ' Mr. and Miss Fresher ' in which participants exhibit their talent and personality. This phase also tracks 'Ms.Dazzling', 'Most Eligible Bachelor', etc.

The event witness Juniors match step for step with Seniors as they swirl to the tune of popular rhythms manned by DJs and rock the vibrant dance floor.

Intra - College Fest
Oasis is one of the most sought after Annual Intra - College Cultural Festival of JIMS held in the month of October every year. Lots of preparation goes into making the charisma of young talents a grand success.
The event is comprised of brain teasers like 'Business Quiz', 'Debate' and 'Product Launch'. More artistic and colorful events like 'Rangoli', 'Meri Awaaz Suno',' Antakshari' & 'Treasure Hunt' gather wonderful spectators. The participants entice the audience with thier exotic dishes in the Culinary Art competition- 'I am the Chef'.

On the parameters of Personality, Confidence & Intelligence 'Mr. & Miss Oasis' discovers new talents and faces. Creative side is taken over by hilarious 'Ad Mad Show' and much awaited 'Choreography' competitions. The budding designers of Design Department organise a fashion show where they present their latest collections.

Inter - College Fest
When land was productive resource, nations battled over it. The same is now happening for talented people. Verve is a search for ideas, innovations and such talented people. It is about harnessing the spirit of youth and creating passion for success.

JIMS organises 'Verve' every year in the month of February which presents a fine blend of academic and cultural activities. The main activities of the festival include Quizzes, Debate, Choreography, Fashion Show, Antakshari, Rang Manch, Mr. & Ms. verve, I am the Chef, Radio Jockey Hunt, Game Show, Ad - Mad Show, Treasure Hunt, Golden Voice Hunt, Instrumental Music, Young Manager Contest and many more.

Sports Meet
Sport and Physical activity are essential for physical, mental, psychological and social development. This not only teaches team work, discipline, respect and management skills but also helps young people learn to meet the challenges of life and to take leadership roles with ease.

Keeping the same in mind, JIMS promotes the idea of sports by conducting Annual Sports Meet in the month of October/ November every year.
"Sport has the power to unite people in a language everyone can understand."
Different Outdoor and Indoor sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Chess, Carrom, Table tennis, etc., are played with great sporting spirit and passion.
