Case Studies
Students are assigned projects by the Institute which enhance their research, analytical
and presentation skills. Strategies adopted by the corporates are taught to the
students through the case Study method.
Project and Summer Training
Students are required to undertake projects and summer training at the end of II
& IV semester, respectively. It gives them practical exposure of the best prevailing
environment, practices and strategies of the professional world.
Presentations
The Institute aims at enhancing the overall personality of the students. Both individual
and team presentations help in developing the desired communication skills.
Seminars
All departments routinely organize various panel discussions and seminars. The students
are encouraged to plan, hold and conduct these activities under the guidance of
faculty members.
Mock Sessions and Group Discussions (GDs)
Students are provided with ample opportunities to participate in GDs and Interviews.
They regulary interact with other members in their teams while discussing topics
of general interest. These mock interviews and GDs are closely supervised and expert
feedback is provided to each student. This helps to develop their leadership skills
and boosts their overall confidence level.
Mentoring and Personality Development Programmes (PDPs)
The Institute has launched a Mentoring Programme to prepare and equip students with
requisite skills to face the corpoarte world. Personality Development sessions help
in building self-awareness and developing a positive attitude to cope with time
and stress issues. Feedback on important traits is delivered through supportive
counselling sessions by experts.
Role Plays
Students are made to simulate roles in different situations encountered in an organization.
Such exercises help them to sharpen theri decision-making and creative skills.
Industrial Visits
Visits to Industrial units, IT companies, Business orgainizations, Newspapers, Radio
and TV Channels, Designer's Studiod, Exhibitions, State Emporiums, 50Star Hotels,
Resorts and Restaurants are frequenttly organized to expose the students to the
real life situations. Such visits/ activities provide them with an opportunity to
interact with various corpoarte heads and get acquainted with the latest practices
being followed in the Industry.
